About Me
While working towards my PhD in Biochemistry, Biophysics, & Structural Biology at Washington University in St. Louis and conducting research on the famous powerhouse of the cell, I have discovered a passion for science communication. I love translating complex scientific ideas into easily understood and engaging articles for scientists and non-scientists alike.
My freelance writing includes content for The Scientist, the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation, and a major academic publisher. I am also a volunteer contributor for ASBMB Today, a contributor for preLights, and an editor for Washington University's science communication network called InPrint. I am a member of the National Association of Science Writers.
